October Newsletter

October 31, 2014
Just this past week CNN, among other news-media, reported yet another story of a teenage gunman opening fire at students in a high school cafeteria in Washington State.  For more details, interested readers may follow this link: http://www.cnn.com/2014/10/25/us/washington-school-shooting/index.html?hpt=hp_t1

Yet another tragedy that didn’t have to be!  If only someone responsible had known about the tell-tale marks and warning signs! There were disturbing posts on social media by the perpetrator in this case. These posts potentially could have been picked up by “TipNow Social” –our social media monitoring product. More about how TipNow Social can be useful in finding such early warning signals from the ocean of clutter on social media in the next newsletter.

Resiligence Founder & CEO Cyril Rayan established the company in 2007 in the aftermath of possibly preventable tragedy of Virginia Tech shootings.  Shocked and saddened by that catastrophe, he vowed to do something about potential preempting of such calamities in the future, and via Resiligence introduced TipNow solutions.

As mentioned in just the September newsletter, many Schools around the U.S. and beyond are using TipNow with great success to keep campuses safe.  Here follows the video news in the media on how TipNow prevented gun violence at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California:

It is gratifying indeed to learn how Mr. Rayan’s efforts came full circle!
